Your car is safe and free to park at the park or at your holiday accommodation. Elsewhere on Texel, such as in the villages and at the beaches, you have to pay everywhere. Texel's own transport service, Texelhopper, has more than 130 stops and can also be ordered at a specific time and place. In addition, there is a Connexxion bus service between the ferry port, Den Burg and the centre of De Koog.

In addition to cycle paths for recreational cyclists, there are also MTB trails, recognisable by the blue signs with the international MTB symbol, and paths that are accessible to wheelchairs and mobility scooters. The total network of cycle paths covers more than 140 kilometres. The total number of kilometres of walking trails is even greater. Routes are available from Ecomare and VVV Texel, among others.
