Ideal location of Juliana

After a comfortable night in a lovely bed, open the curtains and enjoy the view of the North Sea. Or take in the panoramic view of De Koog and the surrounding countryside. The apartments are ideally located on Texel. From Juliana, you can walk straight into the lively centre of De Koog (150 metres) with its restaurants, shops and terraces. The beach (200 metres) is only a five-minute walk away. And from Juliana's car park, you can walk straight down our forest path for a peaceful stroll through the woods of Texel (50 metres).

Upon arrival, you will receive your keys and we will be ready to answer any questions you may have about your stay. Whether you want tips for fun excursions, want to know where to eat, or want to make use of additional services such as bicycle rental, bed linen or bread service, we are happy to help!

We are open from 10:00 to 12:00 on public holidays.

Lift and accessibility

Do you have a lot of luggage or are you less mobile? Juliana has a lift that takes you to the first and second floors. Please note that the complex is not fully equipped for disabled guests.

There are a few thresholds and small steps in the apartments on the upper floors. For guests who want a comfortable route to their apartment with, for example, a luggage trolley or walker, walkways can be installed on request.

We advise guests who require extra accessibility to contact us in advance so that we can offer the best possible solution.

Private parking space at Juliana

Are you travelling by car? Each Juliana apartment has its own parking space in the car park for Juliana on the village side. You can park your car here during your stay with Texelholidays. The parking spaces are marked with a number that corresponds to the number of the apartment where you are staying. This means you don't have to worry about finding a parking space or the costs involved during your stay.

Electric car charging stations

Are you travelling with an electric car? You can charge it at Juliana! There are two charging stations (with a total of four connections) in the car park at Juliana. These charging stations are shared. Once your car is charged, you can park it back in the parking space with the number of your apartment. In addition to the charging stations in the Juliana car park, the Municipality of Texel has installed approximately 35 public charging stations on the island, spread across all villages.

Public transport

Are you travelling to Texel Juliana by public transport? From Den Helder Station, take bus number 33 to the ferry terminal. The bus times are coordinated with the departure times of the TESO ferry. The crossing with TESO takes approximately 20 minutes. Upon arrival on Texel, take bus number 28 towards De Koog. Get off at the Badweg stop. From here, it is a 170-metre walk to Juliana Apartments.

Public transport on Texel consists of a combination of the regular bus line 28 and the flexible Texelhopper service. Bus 28 connects the ferry terminal with Den Burg and De Koog and usually connects with the ferry to and from Den Helder. For all other stops on the island, the Texelhopper runs by reservation. Reservations can be made via the Texelhopper app, the website or by telephone. You can travel with an OV-chipkaart, debit card payment or an online ticket.

Pets

At Juliana, you are welcome to bring your pet! Many apartments are equipped for stays with pets, while other apartments are deliberately kept pet-free. When searching for your Juliana apartment on the website, you can immediately indicate how many pets you will be bringing. You will then only see holiday homes that allow the number of pets you have indicated, along with additional information. For hygiene reasons, pets are not allowed on the furniture or on the floors. Pets may not be left alone in the holiday home or must remain in a crate or cage. We ask that you always keep your pet on a leash within the Juliana complex.

Holiday laundry

In the basement of the apartment complex, there is a laundrette that is free to use for our guests. The room is equipped with two washing machines, three dryers and an iron. There is usually sufficient availability on weekday evenings and weekends. On Mondays and Fridays, we use the laundrette ourselves in connection with changeover days. Tokens for the machines are available at reception; detergent is included.

At the entrance to the apartment complex, you will find a comprehensive brochure rack full of information about Texel. Here you will find everything from fun activities and sights to ideas for trips and current events on the island. The content is regularly updated and tailored to the season, so you always have the most up-to-date tips. This allows you to fully enjoy everything Texel has to offer during your stay.

Separated waste

We believe it is important to keep Texel clean and sustainable. That is why we have a container area at Juliana where you can easily separate your waste. Here you can dispose of glass, plastic, residual waste and paper separately. You can also return deposit bottles to us; the proceeds will go to charity - RopaRun Texel. The container area is located in the Juliana car park near the entrance and exit.
