We would like to put our regular guests in the spotlight! The Hesse family has been coming to Texel for more than 30 years. We asked them a few questions about their stay.

Can you introduce yourself?
We are the Hesse family from Troisdorf. Esa, Gregor, Fabienne, Emma, Émile. Esa has been coming to Texel regularly for more than 35 years and we as a family have been coming together for almost twenty years now. We have also been booking our accommodations on Texelvakanties.nl for almost 20 years.

What is your most beautiful, beautiful or most wonderful place on the island?
There are many. The lighthouse is certainly a wonderful place for the whole family, but the harbor or the Paal 21 are also our favorite places on holiday.

Why is this your favorite place?
Especially the PAAL 21 invites you to relax and enjoy - both old and young feel at ease there. You can enjoy the beach and enjoy one of the many Texel specialties together as a family in a cozy atmosphere.
Texel itself has become a second home for us. In every season, this island has a special flair and a very special touch. You feel free here and can switch off. At the same time, things don't get boring here, even fourteen years later we continue to discover new, beautiful things on the island.

What do you think of Texel holidays?
Texel holidays ensures that you can immediately start your holiday (or go to work ;-)). Even when I travel to Texel, I always use the services of Texel holidays, because I can blindly rely on the fact that I can get the best possible accommodation here. The houses or apartments are well maintained and clean, one of the most important factors for us. Moreover, all employees here are always very friendly, nice and above all helpful. Texel holidays make a major contribution to feeling comfortable here.

Do you have tips for other text lovers?
You can give a lot of tips, for example if you are a horse lover, take a look at the Manege Elzenhof. But I prefer to give advice, not just to pay attention to the obvious highlights of this island (such as the lighthouse), but also to be enchanted by this island to the left and right of the road.

Wij zijn de familie Hesse uit Troisdorf. Esa (37), Gregor (38), Fabienne (14), Emma (11), Émile (8). Esa komt al meer dan 30 jaar regelmatig naar Texel en wij als gezin komen nu bijna veertien jaar samen. We boeken al 13 jaar bij Texelvakanties.

Great small park, located almost in the center of De Koog. Central on Texel. Nice spacious luxury Villa. We had already completely renovated number 63 twice. New bathroom with Whirlpool. Super clean too! Worth repeating!

We enjoyed 2 weeks on the beautiful island of Texel in a very luxurious house on the honeysuckle. On a Friday we went and everything goes very smoothly on the boat, when you get off the boat you first have the idea that Texel is not so beautiful, but once you drive on you enter a very nice area. We go here for a week every year because it is a wonderfully quiet place, with a beautiful view over the sea with inimitable sunsets in colors, walking distance beach and village with all lively bars and restaurants. This is the ultimate resting place for us and yet everything at hand if you want. There are apartments with sea view and land view, there is a price difference.

Our stay at Villa number 191 exceeded all our expectations! This sustainable and richly equipped holiday home is located in a beautiful location, where we completely relaxed. The outdoor kitchen with Basterd BBQ and the wood-fired hot tub were our favorite. We will definitely come back here.

Texel and February / March are beautiful places to relax and gain new energy. Apartment complex Juliajana in De Koog is simply perfectly located between sea and dunes. Behind the house, from the parking lot, you (and your dog) can reach the sea via a large spruce forest. The apartment was very well equipped and clean!

After the first accommodation (house) was not in order (cleanliness and power supply), we were offered a switch to an apartment where everything was fine. The new apartment was well equipped and had a beautiful sea view. It was also very clean. We would book an apartment in the Julianacomplex at any time and can also recommend it if you have a dog.
