Natuurvillapark Waalerburght is ideally located for those who want to discover Texel. The park is quietly situated in nature, about 4 km from the forest and the extensive dune areas, perfect for walks and bike rides. The cosy centre of De Koog is about 3 km away, with shops, terraces and various restaurants. The beach is also a short distance away, about 4 km, so you can easily enjoy the sun, sea and sand.

Waalerburght Texel

On the edge of the Waalenburg nature reserve, in the heart of Texel, you can enjoy a truly panoramic view of the vast landscape. The transparent façade and large windows literally bring nature indoors. From the living room and terrace, you can look out over the open fields and enjoy the peace, space and one of the most beautiful sunrises on the island.

This special place was discovered at the end of the 19th century by the Netherlands' most famous nature lover, Jac. P. Thijsse, who became fascinated by the character and natural wealth of Waalenburg.

Cooking together, enjoying together

The spacious living room of over 66 m² brings the tranquillity of the Texel landscape indoors. Thanks to the large windows and sliding doors, the living room flows seamlessly into the spacious garden and terrace, with sweeping views of the open countryside.

The living room has a comfortable sitting area with a wood-burning stove and a Smart TV with soundbar for an optimal sound experience. The large open kitchen with cooking island is perfect for cooking together. The kitchen is fully equipped with various built-in appliances and adjoins a cosy dining area with a large dining table.

Bedrooms with private bathroom

It is a surprise for anyone who unsuspectingly enters the basement via the stairs. The amazing space offers two large bedrooms with daylight windows. Each bedroom has a bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower and a vanity unit. The basement also has a separate toilet. On the first floor, you will find two bedrooms, both with an en-suite bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower and a vanity unit. All bedrooms in the house have comfortable box-spring beds.

Hot tub in nature

Almost all holiday villas at Natuurvillapark Waalerburght have their own wood-fired hot tub in the garden. While you sit warmly in the water, you can look out over the vast Texel countryside and experience the peace and space of the island.

The hot tub is a wonderful place to relax in both summer and winter. After a long walk on the beach or a day of cycling on Texel, you can enjoy the warm water and fresh air even more.

In our 8-person holiday homes, you can enjoy your own private sauna. Let the soothing warmth relax your muscles and unwind completely after a day on Texel. While outside the silence of the Texel landscape surrounds you, inside you can enjoy pure relaxation. After your sauna session, cool off under the rain shower and experience the space and luxury of your villa once again.

Cooking in the open air

Outdoor cooking takes on an extra dimension in the outdoor kitchen (nos. 16 and 18) with Kamado BBQ, while you look out over the vast Texel countryside. Prepare the most delicious dishes together and enjoy long, atmospheric evenings outside with friends and family.

Complete the experience with honest, quality meat from the traditional butcher, such as the famous Texel lamb, and taste the pure flavours of the island. Villas 14 and 24 have a portable Weber BBQ.

Dogs are welcome to join in the fun

Pets are welcome in villas 14, 18 and 24. The villa has its own garden and some villas are fully fenced, so your pet can enjoy the outdoors safely and freely. To ensure a comfortable stay for all guests, we ask that you do not allow your pet on the furniture or on the floors. Pets are not allowed to be left alone in the villa unless they are in a crate or cage. Within the villa park, we kindly request that you keep your pet on a leash.

Fresh rolls for breakfast

Start your day in peace with fresh bread rolls from Broodjes Service Texel, delivered daily to your villa. Choose from crispy rolls, soft buns and delicious croissants and enjoy a relaxed breakfast without having to leave the house. You can easily order in advance via the Broodjes Service Texel website or via the brochure you will find in the villa.
