Food Forest Texel
The new Texel food forest is a place full of fruit trees, nut trees, herbs, and vegetable plants. It is a young, growing food forest where you can stroll, play, look around, relax, and experience how this forest develops.
A unique place where you can pick your favorite fruit yourself. Bring a basket into the garden, pick as much as you want, pay for the fruit you've picked, and enjoy!
FOOD AND DRINK
Food Forest Texel also has a covered terrace in the greenhouse, or outside among the greenery, where you can relax with a nice drink and homemade treats made with produce from the food forest.
MINI CHILDREN'S FARM
Animals belong in the Food Forest. In addition to the many insects, chickens, rabbits, and lambs keep us company. And they even contribute to the Food Forest: the chickens lay eggs for the pie, and the lambs keep the grass trimmed and fertilize the soil.
GNOME TRAIL
Put on a real gnome hat and grab the gnome book to go on a search for plants and animals in the Food Forest. Available at the ticket office for children up to 10 years old.
