Who are we? Marco is 63 and Willie is 66, and we have been living on Texel for three years.
We work together on Mondays and Fridays at Texelvakanties, checking the accommodations for cleanliness and making sure everything is present and in order before our guests arrive.
We both come from a customer-oriented background, so despite our early retirement, we can indulge ourselves in this part-time job. It's nice to give our customers a hassle-free vacation, and that includes a perfectly chosen environment.
Not unimportant is the culture and colleagues who share the same desire to ensure our guests have everything they need. Together, we always succeed!
The countryside is mainly our working area, which is exciting every time.
Sheep that make themselves heard when we arrive, but also cattle that can suddenly appear in front of you in the woods.
