Allow us to introduce.. Jacquelien

Hi, I’m Jacquelien, a 46-year-old native of Texel 🐑. I live with my husband and sons in the beautiful and, above all, cozy town of Oudeschild.

I’ve been happily working at Texelvakanties since 2008. In the early years, when the kids were still small, I worked part-time during school hours in housekeeping, and for many years now I’ve been working as an inspection coordinator.

My regular workplace is Villapark Kamperfoelie, where I work alongside my colleagues from housekeeping, maintenance, and the grounds crew to make sure everything is in order for the next guests.

The park is located on the outskirts of the village of De Koog, but once you’re there, you don’t feel like it’s so close. It’s wonderfully peaceful—you can hear the birds singing, the ducks swimming happily in the pond, and it’s beautifully nestled among the greenery.
Many (regular) guests have found their perfect spot here, and because the houses are all uniquely situated and decorated, there’s a wonderful vacation spot for everyone.

I’ll be staying with Texelvakanties for a while longer; we have a friendly team where you really always feel a bit like you’re “at home.” Everyone looks out for one another, and with a dose of humor 🤪, we often quickly resolve any issues—whether personal or work-related—and that’s worth its weight in gold to me!
