Allow us to introduce.. Ben

Hi! I’m Ben. 

I came to Texel for just one season in 2018, but I never left.

After 15 years in the hospitality industry, I traded in my tray for a set of tools last November. I now work in the technical department at Texelvakanties, and honestly? I’ve never felt more at home.

Whether I’m tackling a garden or figuring out a tricky malfunction, I love fixing things myself. I bring that passion home with me, where I run our own B&B with my girlfriend. So I know exactly how important a pleasant stay is.

Since I’ve been around for a while, a lot of people recognize my face by now, but not yet the guy behind the toolbox. I’d love to change that!

So whether you live here or are on vacation: if you see me driving or doing some DIY, feel free to call out, “Hey Ben!” because I’m always up for a chat.
